I had to put my camera in the shop. Dropping my camera off at the UPS store with their promise that they would package it well was about the most stressful thing I’ve done this month. But, it had to go in. I have been having some problems with it, and since I have a shoot coming up this fall for my friend Sarah, I figured I better get on the ball. So I shipped it off and waited for the estimate. Lo and behold, there is a recall on my camera for the exact problems it was happening. I got an email back letting me know the repairs would be free of charge, and within about a week I had my baby back in my hot little hands. I needed to play with it a bit to make sure everything was working as it should be so I ran out to the yard to take a few photos. It occurred to me that very shortly we will be headed back to the desert and I will no longer live in this land of lush beauty and greenery. Once I finished weeping about that, I walked around and took photos of a few of the things that are growing in our yard right now. With no help from me, as I do not have the elusive green thumb. Oh how I will miss Indiana.
