Easter this year was a much more mellow affair. We stayed here in Utah and had easter morning at home, and then headed over to Grandma and Grandpa’s house for a little egg hunt. We were really glad that dad could be here. We found out a week before Easter that he was going to be leaving us for the summer again. Work in Utah has dried right up, and it’s been pretty hard to keep an income coming in. Dave got a lead on a job in Oklahoma that is a 2 year job. We were going to pass on it, because we don’t want to move, especially that far away from family, but then Dave said dad could just go for the summer. So after the egg hunt at grandma’s I drove dad over to Dave’s house and he, Dave, and Dalan headed to Oklahoma. We don’t know how often he will be able to visit, if at all, and it breaks our hearts to be without him for another summer. It breaks his heart to, to miss all the soccer and summer fun with the yahoos. But, he has always done what he needs to to take care of our family, and this year will be no exception. We miss him already!
