So, we haven’t been out of the house much this summer. Something about 6 kids and no husband…. just makes it so much easier to stay home. We have the park and the pool in our backyard, so I figure…. why do we need to go anywhere? My poor kids. Last week Aunt Shalyn invited us over to swim in the pool at her complex. We loaded up and headed over. It was a scorchingly hot day, and it was nice to leave home for a bit. The kids had a blast! Thanks Aunt Sha!
The kids took turns being in charge of the babies, so I could work on my much neglected tan. I think this was only the second time this year I actually laid out. I was reminded why I don’t usually take my kids to big pools. Too stressful when you have little ones that don’t swim.
